Stage 3 - Getting Paid

Getting paid to do what you love is ironically one of the most daunting stages of the Make Money Doing What You Love journey.

MISTAKE: Thinking that if you love it, you should do it for free.

"If I love doing it, why do I deserve to be paid?"
SOLUTION: Declare that what you love has value not only to you but to others and make that value obvious so that people will love to pay you for it. Then stop doing it only in your spare time, but do it full time. Full time doing what you love! What could be better???

Once we know what we want to offer, how to offer it and how to find the right people to offer it to we need to get scientific and effective about offering it.

MISTAKE: Thinking that if I have a great product, service or offer that people will beat a path to my door and throw their money at me
SOLUTION: People have a MILLION OPTIONS and may not be able to recognise how great your offer is unless you have an effective way of letting them know a few things such as - how great your offer is, why they should get to know you, like you and trust you
